Re: Which country would you like to go to most?

Would like to go back to different parts of China. It is so completely different from western culture and the scenery is spectacular. I often tune in on sky to the Chinese overseas broadcasts and realise that I have only seen a minute part of that vast country.
The far east interests me more than any western country, the way of living-friendlyness-and overall treatment of visitors without looking at how much cash they have is such a change. I do realise I am just seeing it through tourist eyes and only seeing what is presented before me but that suits me fine.

Re: Which country would you like to go to most?

I'm with Bazza - I'd head East.

I'd love to go to Tibet or Nepal.

There's so many other places I'd like to though - Iceland, Chile & Africa too.

That said, Scotland is fantastic. If I could be really selfish and just spend two weeks on my own for just photography I'd be more than happy with that.

Re: Which country would you like to go to most?

Me too, made a post several months ago that I would love to head off to China and the Far East and back to the Middle East and just record it all with camera in hand. That hasn't changed. I used to want to win the lottery and buy a Porsche etc. but appreciate now the money wouldn't be about material things but just represent freedom from work and to be able to travel etc.

Got to stay in there with Phil too that also places like Iceland and Norway. Did Norway years ago but didn't have a good camera with me.

Re: Which country would you like to go to most?

British Columbia!

Rather conveniently I'm going there in September. I'm booked on a trip to see the fishing bears that featured on David Attenboroughs "Natures Great Events". I don't think I've ever been so excited about a holiday!!

Would still love to go to the Himalayas at some point, and really want to make a return trip to the Masai Mara now that I've got a decent camera.

Agree with Phil about Scotland...it's pretty amazing up there too. I love Wales for wildlife though

Re: Which country would you like to go to most?

Having been all over the world, I do appreciate that England has far more to photograph than most countries. but I would like to go to Canada, don't know why, just fancy it.

Like other people have said, China would be a great place, have been to Singapore and Hong Kong a few times, but they don't have a lot of historic buildings around.

Top of my list is still the Moon though I know it's baron, would be an interesting shoot, and to have some photos of our planet from the Moon would be awesome

Having said that, something that I would find equally as interesting, and much more highly likely to achieve would be 'shipwreck' photography for wrecks at Scuba/Aqualung depths.
