my oh hastaken her first shots after pinching my camera!
My oh is very creative and is keen to learn about photography she really likes close up shots like water droplets and flowers, that type of thing what would be the best lens to get for her for this type of shot? heres a couple of experiments bare in mind these are her very first attempts which i think are very good. Please feel free to comment as like me she is keen to learn.

I use my 60mm f/2.8 macro for my water droplets
As to the pics shown, I think the lighting for those bottom two shots needs to be somewhere between the two if you see what I mean? The first of the pair is dark but not dark enough for a sillhouette but the bottom one is very bright.
However, the bottom one shows the woodgrain beautifully
The top pic I like a lot but the wires in the background are a bit distracting

lol the first one it a funny ornament ! i think they are great leann !! like mel said the lightening need to be in between the two, but i really like the middle one the nearly sillohouette make the image looks so romantic !
