Re: Green Woodpeck family outing

Ken

There were actually 4 Green Woodpeckers but one was to far away from the others to get in shot. That photo taken some time ago now was in in my top field. We decided a couple of years ago to do a count on the number of varies types of birds have visited us over the years. We counted somewhere around 25 to 30 different types . The smallest being the Wren right up to huge buzzards. Most unusual being Red Caps? we think they were and Yellow Hammers. The list is too long to name every visit from every different type so won't try. We one year even had Weasels running about the place.

Living in the countryside does give a huge chance to see birds and animals, and don't have to leave the office attached to the Bungalow to see them all

Dave, to day when he came liked the area with all the fields etc around us.
