First dslr :)

bought my first dlsr yesterday

wanted one for a long long time and i thought well - ive saved my money i want one

so i have a nikon d60 - perfect for what i want.... so heres a couple o fpiccies - i havent been able to use it properly yet as wer have been snowed/iced in :o so been stuck in the house/garden!! good job i have 2 very good looking dogs

tell me what you think - i just pointed and shot as im still reading the book and learning so please be nice!!! any tips welcome!!

didnt realise how pretty her (2,3,) eyes are!!!

thanks for looking - like i said - any tips welcome - even any settings about my camera as im learning and i love taking pics!!! going a horse show tomorow so expect more!!

someone says its the 'dippy' face... but i think shes rather intelligent

will be getting more scenery once this horrid ice goes and i can get places

thanks

my friend reccomended them so, thats why i ended up with that

i have just (tonight) bougth another lense also bought a wide angle lense..... so i will see how i get on with those

Suze

The lens makes all the difference to a picture, so its worth investing in good glass. I still regret selling my Nikon18-70mm lens as it is a great reasonably price walkaround lens.

i bought what my friend told me too - a 70-300mm......

gawd help me if im wrong

can return it and hes buying the same one next week too

any more i can bear in mind for the next purchase (couple a months)!

I had the non VR version of that lensif its Nikon, takes good pictures but I sold it for the latest vesion and wouldn't be without it as you can see on the list below. Phil actually bougth the previous lens from me and produced some excellent pictures with it.

Some lovely shots to start out with - I like the angle on 4 - very cool! Try reading the YOp! guides - they are a great help to beginners! - they are under photography basics at the side nearer to the top!
