Inbound - Griffon Vulture

Ruppells Griffon Vulture.

It flew into my face a few moments later giving me a right old slap

Managed a few pictures today although the light was fading fast later in the afternoon. I'll get some added later on.

WOW!! great shot Phil. They have one of these at a local BOP centre but they dont fly it . Great to see.

Phil, I photograph a lot of birds in Cyprus. I've found that where you dont include the full wings to fill the frame, a tight crop in on the bird can be quite effective to capture the expression. You caught a great expression on this bird.

Really great shot, of a very creepy bird! It really tucks it feet up high when it flies doesn't it.

I would of freaked if it had flew into me, as Vultures do give me the heebie geebies
