Burlesque photography workshop

Hi all

I have been recommended this site by a friend and so far it looks great.

I am holding a workshop for photographers that will specialise in vintage/burlesque.

The workshop will be an all day event - from 10am - 4pm and will give you the opportunity to work with, photograph and direct various (up to 5) burlesque performers.

Please note that these ladies are actual stage performers not simply models who apprecaite the vintage era - so they will give you excellent poses, facial expressions and awesome costumes.

The studio where the workshop will be based in is in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Black & white backrolls will be available as will lighting set up.

Please note that there are only space for up to 5 photographers at each workshop.

The November dates are soon to be confirmed - I will be running workshops throughout the year with different performers.

The cost for the day is £50 including lunch.

I am quite interested, but I am really a beginner, never shot in a studio etc, would this be a problem? I really love Pin Up/ Vintage type photography.

Hi all

The Burlesque photography day is taking place on Saturday 22nd November and will be held in my Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham studio.

There will be 5 performers/models during the day each with very different outfits/costumes from nipples tassles to fans from sailor costumes to corsets (I am in the final stages of confirming which performers are attending).

I will be providing all attendees with a list of performers and a sample photo of them to show you who you will be photographing during the day.

The workshop will be from 10:30am - 4pm and will cost £50 per person - max number of togs is 5 -photographer will have an allocated time slot with each performer to ensure everyone receives the same amount of 'shoot' time. Lunch will be provided and street parking is available.

If you wish to attend, please let me know ASAP - it is on a stickly first come first served basis and a £25 deposit will be required to reserve your place.
