American Eagle








I don't see them very often, maybe once or twice a year. This was zoomed a lot as he was high and some distance away from me. My Canon camera has a 30X zoom and pretty good stabilization for me to hand hold. Shirley

What a lovely bird and good shots Shirley. You did well capturing him at 30x zoom, it shows how good the stabilization is on the powershot Well captured......

Nice catch especially as you were using a compact.

We have Golden Eagles and White Tailed Sea Eagles here in Scotland but not Bald Eagles as we call them.
