The brooklyn bridge

I was lucky enough to go to New York last year and took a series of photo,s from the balcony of the the south st seaport strating in brookly and moving back to manhattan, I used the wifes nikon coolpix 2500 and Im really happy with the result of my first attempt at stitching, although there appears to be a dark area at the left of the picture near the verizon building, does anyone know what it might be, all the shots were taken about a second apart, anyway hope you like it, btw sorry for large image size wasnt sure how to resize a panoramic pic.

Btw, New York, if you havent been is a 'must see' place if youre a photographer or not, its truly awesome.

Tbh neither am I , so we stayed in Greenwhich village, you,ve got jazz clubs, mmm nice bars, clubs, small parks including washington sq park, where we sat listening to live jazz musicians playing on a stunning july sat afternoon, round the corner you have soho (south of houston st), noho (north of houston st), chinatown, chelsea, the east village, tribeca (the triangle below canal st). then if you head north you have manhattan proper with times square, central park, harlem, but if you want it a bit quieter greenwhich village is the place to go, its where friends was set supposedly, in fact the arch you see that looks like the arc de tiomphe is actually a memorial to george washington and it is in the park outside our hotel www.washingtonsquarehotel.com . Best of all the place was so friendly, I was expecting all these in yer face noo yorkers, telling me 'get outa the way buddy' but no it was great, cant wait to go back, go, YOU WILL LOVE IT .
