My park lake

This is the inlet from the prairie behind the park, that fills the lake...a full flow!

Look at all that water! Just 2 weeks ago it was a mud puddle, not 6 inches deep at the most. Shirley

Re: My park lake

The water came from Tropical Storm Debby over the 4 days she hung over us. Have you ever seen it rain so hard that you can not see one inch out of a window? Just like being inside a car wash! That don't last long before it slacks off to just hard rain but those "dumps" are amazing...was driving once when we got one..suddenly you see nothing but water! That one lasted just a few seconds and I held steady and had no trouble...but the shock was something else! That one happened without a cloud that I could see above me...weather is a whole different thing here in Florida. Most of Florida got about 18 inches of rain from Debby...I have read of a TS that dropped 100 inches of rain in a week..guess Debby treated us lightly. Shirley
