Sweep Panorama

Has anybody got or used a camera with what Sony call 'Sweep Panorama' allowing up to 224-degree panorama photos in one press-and-sweep motion.

Haven't heard of it before but it does actually look pretty neat!

I've seen youtube videos of it. Looks quite funky. It does result in some fantastic artefacting though. I don't think it will be making its way onto the slr market. We snooty people will I think be sticking to PTGui and Photoshop.

Call me a Luddite but I wouldn't want to see it on a dslr if I'm honest - however I'm a sucker for things like this on a compact.
