Hi DonaldD. I have one now and its a great camera. I woudl definately recommend it for anyone who wants a good camera but can't stretch to the 7D or 5D.

This is a SOOC picture taken at ISO 3200:
yes that is 3200!!!!
I had it on automatic ISO (great feature) and hadn't noticed how high it had gone until I went to edit it and looked at the properties.
You can see some noise but way less than I would have had at 400 on my 300D!!!
I also think the bokeh is way nicer than on my 300D
This was just a snap (not trying to get any particular effect) but I think that the background is lovely:
Haven't got around to exploring the video yet. I'll post some when I do.
I am proper thrilled with it! I haven't found it lacking in anything that I need yet.
FF would of course be lovely, but really not necessary for me right now. I'll be saving for some decent glass (these were both with my 50mm 1.8) before I even think about FF.

That's very good performance with the ISO that high Em... now you got it it'd be tough going back to a camera with lower ISO performance
