Hannah enjoying the snow

A few I took today of Hannah enjoying herself in the snow. She made herself a snowman although it was a bear and had a fab time in the field on her sledge.

In no particular order

snowballed

boarding

the field

women drivers

the long walk back up

ready steady

me and hannah

sad bear

happy bear

cold, wet & ready to go home

bye bear

Re: Hannah enjoying the snow

Aww great fun, and glad you captured it, was it with your new camera, as the white snow is good, god I am becoming a geek.

Never made a snow bear, it's a great idea, , Hannah was practising her driving skills for dodging bad male drivers!

I want snow!!! Agree with Snaps , Hannah has great colouring, love the rosy cheek one at the end.

Thanks - I just wanted to get some pics of Hannah playing in the snow as it's so easy to cop out and leave the camera at home.

It's the field that joins onto our garden - there's a really steep one further up but this one is a really long medium paced run - well suited for dads

Thanks - I doubt she gets it from me. We did have a right old laugh.

Yes the new wee compact. I've not tried it's various modes or 'manual' setting yet - so far I'm impressed though.

I think it 'became' a bear during the making

Thanks- It did get cold as the wind picked up and she gets the rosey cheeks when she's puffed. I just like the fact that she's happy to play 'out' and it's me that has to drag her home rather than the other way around.

Thanks Azz. Just having a play with the new compact camera. It's nice to have a little thing I can just shove in a pocket that takes half decent pictures.

Re: Hannah enjoying the snow

Good series of happy pics Phil! Some thought on view point makes the pictures so much better. I was crying at the end...reminded me of Brigg's The Snowman whereby he has gone by next morning...sob...sniffle...

The 'tobogonning' reminded me of a many years ago when a few of us from work all met up on a snow covered hill miles away from where we were meant to be! Someone had got hold of a load of old body bags and we used them to race down the hill! Onlookers didn't know whether to laugh or be horrified! We thought we had got away with it until one guy went crashing into a rock and broke his arm! Work had to know!

That's one cute daughter you have there Phil. She certainly looks like her dad. The eyes are exactly the same. Great set.
