Dalmatian portrait
Took this today, critiques welcomed as always but I`m not self critiquing this one because .... no matter what technical flaws there may be and no matter what I could/should have improved on, I am still chuffed to have taken it anyway, hence taking the leap to posting it in this section instead of in Beginners

Patch, just WOW, you are coming on in leaps and bounds since i last was posting!
The ONLY thing i would comment on is the composition, I always feel that for landscape portraits you should have the subject off center and with a bit more shoulder - but thats a personal rather than technical thing
Its a super shot and you have good reason to be chuffed x

I absolutely agree with Sam about the composition - it's something to keep in mind for next time, or even, if it's possible to (as I haven't seen the original I don't know) - crop portrait even?
In any case, it really doesn't matter, as this photo is superb - pin sharp, nearly perfect exposure - You have come on so much since I first started looking at your photos - this is one to be *incredibly* proud of!
