Makeshift studio

This shoot was set up in correspondence to a brief set by a selection of Media Students, They were asked to create an imaginary 'band/group' so they cast a selection of people to be in the 'group.' A selection of outfits were chosen for the models to add variation to the shoot.

The Group is called A.V.D - Audio, Video, Disco
Their alias's are as following: Tee, Paul and Rosie.

Kit 1
Canon 7D
Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Re: Makeshift studio

Great lighting.
The only thing that bothered me were some of the wrinkles and shadows around the feet. I wonder if they could be lightened.

Re: Makeshift studio

Well spotted LM, yes, now I've noticed (not perceptive today) it is a little distracting alright. I found I had the same trouble doing rat photos on sheets, now I have white board, it's much easier

I strangley enough ended up doing some topless shots of him, he has great physique so offered it that I'd like to work with him.

As for the wrinkles I had to the choice to take them out, or leave them in when it came to post processing. Maybe I should of taken them out, but I didnt want it to look 'false' as if they'd been marquee tooled out of an image. I wanted to anchor them so it was obvious that it was shot on a backdrop, silly I know. Thanks for the comments though, I do sometimes feel I neglect this site! but I love the feedback you guys give. I do enjoying looking through I just tend not to comment much.

Re: Makeshift studio

I think the problem with the shadows is that they stand out and look unnatural as every is so white around them. Thats why I thin some softening rather than removing would help.
