Statue in Mono

I am so pleased with this shot, I love the composition, the tones,the detail and it is one of the few pics I have smiled at, as soon as I saw it.

I like it to Moon

I like the way the face and shield are in focus and the branches are thrown out.

For me...the branch 'in the hand' is a bit mixed up with the background branches. I only say that as I never realised she was holding it from my first glace.

Not sure how to do it but I think the figure and the branch she's holding are mixed with the background.

Pull her from the background, chop a bit off the top and you've a very strong image !

I really like this one MS! I saw it in your Flickr account last night (I was looking at some of Sammy's latest dog shots and saw you commented on her picture of Dusty so clicked on yours too ) and it really stood out. I can see what Phil means about the branch but I still think it is a really nice shot!

I can see what you mean, but I am not editing this one as I really am pleased with this shot but I do appreciate your advice, but I am happy with it as it is

GH- Dusty is lush!What a face I am always drooling over Sammy's pics of Mals. Sibes and CED's. She must get bored of my comments of Awww and I want one xx
