Re: Ladybird

Slowly getting to grips with it Daisy and enjoying doing so. I'm looking forward to the longer days so that I can get out and do a bit more. Work really does get in the way. Awaiting a 1.7 teleconverter lens to arrive, hopefully it will coincide with a full moon and a clear sky.

So far very pleased with the camera. I spent ages reading loads of reviews from a variety of sites.

Re: Ladybird

Excellent capture Richard with nice light and detail, some info I picked from a guide in Castle Eden Dene about ladybirds is that they live very short lives and throughout winter they will lodge themselves on a branch or a twig so they can freeze over for winter as their body contains antifreeze, I was quite amazed and since been told I've seen a few actually frozen in water drops etc.....
