Andy Rouse Wildlife Photographer

I suspect some of you will have heard of Andy Rouse - award winning wildlife photographer.

You may have seen some of his polar expedition penguin shots or perhaps the mountain gorillas. Fantastic tiger shots too.....

Anyway - he's uploaded some collections to you know where and some stunning images can be seen at the link below..

Re: Andy Rouse Wildlife Photographer

Thanks for the link Phil. I admire Rouse's work very much! Sadly - he doesn't seem the most pleasant of individuals from much I've read (he does post on some forums too), however, his work is fab. There are others I prefer, but 90% of that business is being able to get to some of the most incredible places on earth. He's a very lucky guy!

Re: Andy Rouse Wildlife Photographer

Sounds as if Dawn has the " hots " for him.

Had a very close look at some of the photos and it looks as if extensive work in photoshop has been done. If you look carefully there is a " transparent echo " around some of the animals, which is a sure sign of sharpening to the very limit.

Re: Andy Rouse Wildlife Photographer

The larger images are not available in the 'view all sizes' function on his Flickr account so I'd be keen to know which image / images you're getting the issues with Bazza ??

Re: Andy Rouse Wildlife Photographer

I think I can see what Bazza means on some - not all though! I think one or two look a bit oversharpened, but it's all down to personal taste, none of this detracts from the fact that he's a very good photographer!

Re: Andy Rouse Wildlife Photographer

The man rocks! love his work and if you follow him on FB he is very open and helpful, and shares a lot of his work, how he does things etc.

http://www.andyrouse.net/

I don't think he photoshops TBH, I think that could be the flickr low res images, here he talks workflow
