Re: Cow with a view

I like the shot, but the tall weed in the foreground keeps drawing my attention.

Re: Cow with a view

Thanks again for the comments.

I tried to get the weed as part of the shot Ken. Maybe I should have take 3 steps to the right.
I tried again a bit closer too.

Re: Cow with a view

That must be some kind of bovine supermodel - look at the length of those legs.

Great shot and I really like the backdrop.

Re: Cow with a view

Cows always a winner in my book, adore them So the fact it's a nicely composed and exposed shot, is an added bonus x

Re: Cow with a view

Nice shot, I would clone that weed out though, it is a bit distracting, more so in the second photo - and I do prefer the closer crop

Re: Cow with a view

I'm the odd one, as I like the weed Without sounding too mushy and nostalgic, I always used to hold my hand out to brush over them, and would still if I was in that field. The image reminds me of walking up to our cows, as a kid, and there were always those weeds. So I am voting for the weed to stay, for that reason, and it feels authentic when you look at it *went gushy, didn't I*

Re: Cow with a view

Thanks guys for the comments.

If anyone would like to try and clone the weed out to see if it's better please be my guest. It looks a bit tricky to me.

I tried to get it in the shot because it was standing there all alone and looked part of the picture at the time. I wish I had taken the shot now with and without. Not one I can go back to. Unless the cow hasn't moved
