Re: Hasselblad

Lorna, its funny how you would say people prefer digital for weddings ect - through all my research, photographers tend to seek out a higher payment for film and its one of those things that is very hard to find these days aswell. KNowing and using film well, is a huge advantage that should be expolited - it offers so much more charactor than digital!

I probably will shoot on film when I have my medium format, but its a pain to have to change film every 12/16 shots in comparison to 200 shots a memory card. Plus the weddings are only seen by the people who buy the album and those who they show it to, so I'm not sure its so worth the extra work it will generate.

I hate doing weddings because they are boring I suppose. I do them for money...hey at least I'm honest! I always make sure the shots are good quality and I haven't had any complaints so I can't be doing a bad job, its just not something I enjoy as much as I do when I'm working towards my projects. Same thing with the live music photography, its something I do because it generates cash, it doesn't make me feel complete.
