As others have said some people will often not reply to a post for some reason or other, but I don't think it should be taken to heart. As for your photographs, I enjoy looking as do others, we can all take good and bad shots, but the difference in peoples tastes or what they like and dislike is for me what makes the hobby/interest so appealing. But the most important person to please with your shots is yourself at the end of the day

To all: At the end of the day it is your pleasure from a shot that matters the most, if others like it as well look on that as a bonus

Ste - I'm never one for stroking someone's ego, but I still have to say that it's daft of you to think of giving up because of someone else's opinion! You should shoot primarily for yourself anyway, and for what it's worth, I think your stuff very very often has the WOW factor! You're one of the best photographers here It would be a shame if you gave up just because of others.
