Wells-next-the-sea

Went to Wells in Norfolk other day and despite the disappointment of not being able to take Vegas on the beach (website said dogs are allowed-grrrrrr)-i got some photos of the harbour etc.

The sea defence wall.

Re: Wells-next-the-sea

Really like the third one , not as keen on the yellow cast on the other two but the top one is a good angle

Re: Wells-next-the-sea

I like the top one But agree there is a little too much yellow - is it something you added or that's how they came out?

Also, I reckon you are another who has out-grown their P&S.. you take some wicked pics Steve and I reckon your P&S camera is holding you back, you're too good for it! Hope you don't mind me saying!

Re: Wells-next-the-sea

The yellowing is an ageing program i altered them with Azz.Unfortunatley,it was a cloudy, overcast day and in their normal state-they lacked something which made them different and the ageing bit made them go a goldy/yellow colour.

I've been experimenting with the white power, exposure and ISO on the camera and it'll only be a matter of time before i get a DSLR.

Re: Wells-next-the-sea

Nice photo's Steve! I think the yellow in the top shot would look fine if the sky wasn't as yellow - it does give a nice warm glow to the land, but the yellow sky is a little off putting.
