Upload problems

In order to view this Flickr video, you'll need to
install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player.

Bit of a problem regarding the above - wondered if anybody could help.

My Flickr has 'reverted' to the basic uploader. The modern one which I've been using for ages isn't available due to a Flash update on the 3rd of March.

When I try to do the Flash update it fails so I'm stuck with the old crap uploader.

What seems to stop me is the yellow bar (prompts the acive x) but if I continue / allow it still fails.

Any other folk having this problem ?

It's popped some fancy loader on my desktop but it wont let me upload vids which I'd planned for Dogsey.

Help most welcome before I take my PC outside and jump on it LOL

Re: Upload problems

That's odd - make sure you're getting flash directly from adobe.com

Re: Upload problems

Still got a problem despite having the latest version 10,0,22,87 installed.

The message also says I may not have Java enabled but in my internet options it is set to enable.

I've uninstalled Adobe Flash player and reinstalled several times from the Adobe site.

I'm at a bit of a loss now.

Re: Upload problems

Am pleased to say that before Phil destroyed the computer in a fit of temper I have intervened and with a bit of patience have worked through the troubleshooting options and seem to have managed to fix the problem. As far as I can work out it was a problem with Windows system registry permissions. All sorted now thankfully as I was beginning to see the red mist decending and feared the PC might be thrown out the window at any moment if he didn't get it working!!!

It just needed a woman's touch!!
