Mad Jon

A self portrait. I did this a while back. Taken with just natural light.
A lot of thought went into this. I added dirt to my nails, creased the shirt, greased the hair, practised the look and so on.
Its taken me some time to finally be happy with the edited result.

I think it's brilliant. I love the tones and colours - I think the lighting is excellent. If I had any niggle at all it would be the darkness of the left hand corner - where the alien picture is. Having said that, it could be my monitor - and it doesn't detract from an excellent shot. It's great to see someone putting so much time into a shot!

Thanks Your not the 1st to say about that area being to dark. Its fine on my monitor and It prints well. I find as well, that if i view my work on a friends pc they look different than when viewed on my mac.

Thank you. It took a few shots to get it right especially when the camera was on timer and not having long to get into position.

Ah, bit of a MOD then? I used to like the Beat and The Jam.

Well - I would be if I was old enough! I love most music to be honest! I like the Jam too - but have to say I prefer the original mod era to the sort of revival stuff!
