Clumber in full flight
Clumbers are not renowned for their speed but with more working types being bred that are lighter and fitter, some them can get a bit of a lick on.
Here's Jago captured coming over the top of a sand dune at Studland.
Now stopping is another thing
Does this work in B&W? I think it does but would appreciate your views

To answer your question - I think there's enough contrast for it to work in B&W. Darkening the sky may have made it slightly stronger perhaps ?
Focus is great. Did you pre-focus before he came over the top or was it autofocus ?

I've always thought it's the name 'Clumber' that gives people the impression that they're slow dogs. Perhaps it's because it sounds like lumber (slow and clumsy) rather than the other Spaniel names 'Springer' or 'Cocker' which have a much busier sound to them.

Would love to see it in colour to. Although my eye seems to like many B&W images think I'd prefer this one in colour.
