Cloudy Corrie

Managed a few shots around Ben Lawers on Sunday afternoon.

It was t-shirt weather if the truth be known, lovely and sunny and not a breath of wind.

Anyway - still need to go through the rest but here's a long lens shot looking into the Corrie - I quite like the cloud hanging in there. What's in frame is from about 2000 feet up to the summit (just hidden) at 4000 feet so very little in the way of snow for this time of year.

Kit 1
Canon 1D Mark 3

Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Kit 2

Re: Cloudy Corrie

I was half expecting to see the strets of weatherfield when i opened up this post.
But what i seen is much better Phil I know completely snow covered mountains look beautiful, but also semi snow covered mountains do to, fantastic shape and fantastic scenery. Nicely captured Phil

Re: Cloudy Corrie

I thought Cloudy Corrie was going to be some kind of bird

I really like your landscapes pictures Phil. You know how to get them right. Living where I do I don't get a chance to see such wonderful views. More please

Re: Cloudy Corrie

Thanks folks

Skyline - Landscapes are what I like best. I have less and less time these days to get out doing it though which is why I started on the garden birds.

I've not got much uploaded yet but if you wanted a nosey I've some landscape shots in the weblink that appears under my posts.
