Water splashes

Took these a few nights ago with my 40d and 50mm II. These types of pics are best taken with a macro lens , which I dont have at the moment so I used my 50mm. I used a torch, CD, water bottle (for water drips) and a coloured bowl to get the light effect, also, It was done in a dimly lit room (pc monitor light).
The Exif info is embedded on these pics for anyone interested

Re: Water splashes

Wonderful shots - the top one is so clear, especially for a 2.5 second exposure!

Is the 50mm the 50 1.8 or 1.4?
