It looks really nice and crisp but very washed out ..is that deliberate?

I think she means the colour Jols - it's a nice shot but looks like too much brightness has been applied? :-/

Lovely shot jols, but I agree with Melody, it looks washed out, I can't tell you what it is, but it looks like some that I took when I was messing about with the exposure comp. setting, almost like looking through a thin fog, if you get my drift
