I lke the shot but let me give you an example of how just sharpening the eyes make a difference. This photo was sent to me by my family & is soft, out of focus. Although still soft it helps the overall photo.





Here's your son's photo with just the eyes sharpened.

Dear Bob, If you look at KK previous work she is yo's QUEEN OF EYE SHARPENING' she has even done a tutorial on it.

So my guess is this was her choice to leave it as it is.

I will look at her previous work. Thanks for the clue. As usual it's always the photographer's perogative to shoot soft.

Bob your edit is a nice example of what can be achieved with some minor editing - good work

LOL @ JOls - thankyou but its also great to see what others can do - im always open to new tecniques as sometimes they are better!!
