In Flight

Got this one last night just as light was turning for the worse.
I'm not a bird person at all but Phil did tell me to practice on seagulls if I have access (which I do).

I know it's a gull, but don't know what kind?

Re: In Flight

It did Ken. I tried a few without and a higher iso but it was about 4.30 and the light was bad. Even with a high iso they were to dark.

Re: In Flight

Looks good Dave, the motion blur on the wings and good detail on the body and head, good capture......Difficult to tell what type of gull it is, so many of the species look almost identical......

Cheers Ken. I was a little unsure at first and I know it's not razor sharp, but I really like the blur in the wing. I'm glad the flash helped.

Re: In Flight

I like the motion captured Dave, it animates the image.
