Griffin Vulture

Meet Misery the Griffin vulture. I was privileged to be able to spend some time in his company and took these shots... Currently unedited.. do you think I should edit the bits of dead chick off his beak?

I am new to photography but am really proud of these shots.

75-300mm f4.5-5.6

I am loving it!

I got it for my birthday and though it's a bit of a monster, it completely changes a zoo trip into a close up wildlife safari

Re: Griffin Vulture

Some great shots there! Isn't he magnificent?! I love vultures too - and a dream for me would be to see Lammergeier in the wild <3

My only criticism would be that he's slightly over exposed around the top of his head, but that could have been difficult light conditions on the day.

Keep up the great work.

xx

Re: Griffin Vulture

Thanks everyone..

Zoundz - yes it was crazy hot and sunny.. the photo wasn't the only thing overexposed on the top of the head ... I am still recovering from a bit of sunburn myself...

Next essential photography accessory.. A hat!
