I see now. It is your shutter speed that has blurred it slightly. I would of made the ISO and the shutter speed higher.
Some people can get away without the use of a tripod with a low shutter speed and some can't. I definitely need a tripod.
I personally would always use manual with portraits, unless i am rushed then i would use TV or AV depending what was more important to me.

The suirrel doesn't work for me and the portrait , although I love high key just has some obvious PP on the right side of her face that distracts me.

Love, love, love the last 2 and I hope you paid that lady in the boat shot handsomely!

Thank you Sharon. Playing around with all these sliders I'm starting to understand what works and what doesn't. I've always gone to far on my pictures. I can now do it the way I think, then bring them down a bit
