Goosey Blue Eyes

Very sunny the other day. I tried to save the whites as best as I could. I use the magic want tool and then just toned it down a bit.
Problems with my raw and cs5 at mo. I'll start another thread about that.

Re: Goosey Blue Eyes

What an engaging character and well done on the whites in the sun.

Love the first best as he/she is so keen to get in shot.

I think number 2 may be a hand puppet.

Re: Goosey Blue Eyes

A nice set of images Dave. The tone of white looks ok from where i am sat Always difficult to get right when your imaging things with bright colors in them on a bright sunny day.

Cheers Mark. I still think a few bits are blown but I'm no expert.

Re: Goosey Blue Eyes

We sometimes overdo it when it comes to processing, making white objects too white in our quest to make the image not look blown out.
I had the same problem when processing astro images, a lot of people tend to blacken out the sky, when a clear night sky is not black at all, its a shade of grey. Some of us tend to process images as we see them through our naked eye instead of trusting what has been captured on the camera, ok, we all want to capture that stunning image, but it does not always give a true representation of what was imaged in the 1st place

Re: Goosey Blue Eyes

Thank you all.
Don't know if all geese have blue eyes or that's a one off. Anyone know?
