AC Cobra

This is the AC Cobra driven by Henderson/Williams, it came 26th out of 56 entries. I love the colour of this magnificent car.

Re: AC Cobra

That's a good image, obviously in a similar position as the E type from a day or two back... however this is more exciting because there is a thrill of the Jag giving chase, the poise of the car... even the red barrier behind looks more supressed. I do think it could be improved... the car to the left needs cropping out, the red is too distracting, the white of the central kerbing or whatever it is called draws the eye, the shadow detail is lacking, and could be pulled up, and I'm not sure if it works better with the bottom 10% cropped too, so there is no grass. Have a look at that, see if you think it looks better or tell me I am blowing smoke out my arse.

Re: AC Cobra

Superb car, and agree about the colour, the little bit of red from the car in front is slightly distracting, but TBH I'd be glad to get something so harp in the frame in this situation, so it's a thumbs up from me x

Thanks for taking the time to CC, BC.

I must admit to not knowing whether to crop the red out or not, but decided it helps explain why the Cobra has taken the line it has, through the bend.

Thanks Moonie, I did get one or two shots of cars not quite in frame

Thanks Azz, I was pleased the Canon 300 focused so well, especially with a x2 convertor attached.

Re: AC Cobra

I love the way you shoot these cars Ken. I'm leaning with the car as it slides around the bend.
