36 Litre hair dryer

Just a couple of snap shots I took while I was waiting on the flight line for another air display to commence. The pops and bangs caught my attention.

Re: 36 Litre hair dryer

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

BC, I have to confess to liking the sound of a nice or interesting engine. Plus the smell of Castrol-R, but that another story.

Great captures and that looks like one hell of a Go-Cart !

Hey Phil, Its funny you should say that as at the time I was thinking "I hope that thing has some good brakes or it's well tethered" as it was forward facing the crowd.

When I saw it mounted - I did wonder if it was 'mobile'

That would be a fantastic sport......

Re: 36 Litre hair dryer

I love your captures of this running engine. It reminds me of attending a steam engine festival locally. It's not only the photo it's the sounds and smell of clouds of steam that was so interesting. If you've ever attended a tractor pull you'll remember the 2,000 horsepower V12 engines mounted side by side on a tractor frame used to pull a 10,000 pound sled the distance of a football field. That will have you covering your ears. Engines are primal, powerful creations of beauty.
