Re: After the rain - Torquay Pier

Thanks Bob. Good point actually because as a spectacle wearer I actually find i have to concentrate really hard to get the horizon level, particularly in portrait format. It's worse since i bought the little magnifier (DK23 - or something like that) for my D700. I have a whole load of seriously askew images. I switch on the grid on my D700, but its not as good as the D300. Not sure if there is one on your d90.

With all the problems I have with horizon lines I also leave the grid turned on my D90. The bubble level doesn't always do a good job.

Re: After the rain - Torquay Pier

Maybe we passed in the crowds, although i would be hard to spot i know, I'm about 5' 2, blue glasses, baseball cap, big camera bag...was often with my wife, she is about 6'2, Ecuadorian...dark hair, bit of a limp and a tattoo... not easy in the crowds i know.

Anyway, next time we are passing...
