Re: Today was a drag...

Thanks for the constructive C&C all

So what are the good and bad points of the picture then? This is quite often the sort of picture we see of many people on stage. Are you commenting about the picture or the fact that it is a drag performer?

Re: Today was a drag...

Well I like it.

I like the expression on his/her face and the way he/she looks really into what he /she is doing.

I like the lights and the background that he/she is obviously on the stage and loving it.

I would also like to see a full length shot cause I bet the dress is awesome....

On another point I knew this pic was yours you have a style now which I think mmmmmmm ''thats a BC''

Re: Today was a drag...

LOL! I think they are all commenting that the 'lady' does nothing for them!
I like the image, I'm trying to decide if the line of lights add or detract to the picture. Have you tried desaturating them? Does that work?

Re: Today was a drag...

Hi LM and Jols, thanks for the response. I wasn't sure about the lights. It was a bit weird as the make up was pretty 'you've been tango'd' anyway, and there was a mix of lighting. The lights above, i wasn't sure, i sort of liked the effect last night when I processed the pic, but today, maybe they could be toned down.

You are right regarding the clothing, was some impressive stuff.

Signature style...well yes, I am concious of that...

Re: Today was a drag...

I was meaning 'she' does nothing for me - hence the cheeky so you didn't take it the wrong way.

I quite like the photograph - certainly the way you've captured the performer. Only thing I'm undecided on is whether the bright line of coloured lights are best left as they are or somehow toned down to match the rest of the image which is quite 'dark' and mooody.
