Apple "Looooves Leopard" hence why Snow Leopard is basically an improvement on Leopard - full 64bit-only OS, balsy or what! Few minor additions here or there, but mostly 90% of it has been rewritten (with true 64bit in mind).

ps the snow leopard he's acquired is a developer build - it's not got all the features in it.

Bloomin' eck, it's just a tool that will be worth bugger all in a few years...
I used to build all my own tweaking this and that, faffing around for ages, now I just want it to work, do the job and get out more...

just thinking back now, I havnt bought a whole new PC since 2003
I've been rehashing and upgrading mine since.
Just got a core 2 quad processor as my latest upgrade bout 2 weeks ago.

I also have a 800G external HD that I merge all my RAW files onto.

I currently have 2 x 500GB hds, along with two smaller HDs for unimportant files. The 2nd 500GB disk is used for time machine, but I am planning on getting a 1.5GB disk (for TM) and then putting the two 500GBs in Raid0
