fuji finepix s5700 macro

bought myself a new compact (well not that compact lol)

I had one of the finepix before, I sold it and bought my dslr, and I missed the macro and zoom, so decided to buy another one

I am really impressed with this one it's a bargain at £99 from jessops

macro shot, teeny tiny little flower in the rain, taken on super macro setting, camera on auto and without a tripod

the only thing that I don't like about these fuji cameras are the batteries, I think the other finepix I had was the 9600, AA rechargables are much too bulky
Kit 1
Canon 400D
Canon efs 17-85mm
My Compact/P&S: Fuji finepix s5700

Re: fuji finepix s5700 macro

Indeed, whilst I ave a nice shiny A200 Sony DSLR my camera bag always has the Fujifilom in it as well...in this case the S5800, but with the same high quality lens and features. I wouldn't be without it...with the massive zoom, the brilliant macro, the host of manual features and easy-to-use automatic settings it is a sorely under-rated machine, and for the price it is well worth it

Yes, but beware...you may find that you take it with you more often than your *main* camera. It is small, cheap to run and massively flexible...
