Re: 35mm film scanner

These 2 photos were both scanned on Boots Kiosks from photos and put onto CD we have had them blown up to 10x15 prints and they are still sharp I think to buy a decent film scanner you will pay a small fortune we now have all our digital put onto CD's at Boots as I haven't yet worked out how to do this via the computer as still very much a beginner in this field and find myself muddling around in the dark 90% of the time...

The first picture was taken in 1999 and the second one in 1996
we did them from the prints as it was too much trouble to try and find the negs and we were'nt dissapointed

Re: 35mm film scanner

Claire sorry what I mean't is I am absolutely useless with computers and it takes me ages to fathom things out how to do them I also misread your question and that was your negs were scanned to CD and as mine were already prints it's probably a lot different in the end product as I have never had negs put onto CD's at Boots only digital media cards...
Hope you manage to find a scanner to suit your needs soon

you could try looking at pro labs in your area they cost extra but the quality of the scan is excellent.
