Re: Need help in choosing a camera

Carole I am confused too, I have it narrowed down to a few, but still can't make up my mind. I just want to make sure I get the right camera for me, who would of thought it would be so hard to choose

Re: Need help in choosing a camera

Lol it doesn't matter what makes me happy

They each have pros and cons - I just feel that on a budget you get a tonne more for your money with Nikon, as demonstrated in this thread.

Everyone's allowed their opinion, including me
Kit 1
Nikon D300
Nikon 55-200mm VR
Kit 2
Nikon D40
Nikon 18-55mm
My Compact/P&S: Panasonic Lumix TZ7

Re: Need help in choosing a camera

Well I think I have narrowed it down to the Canon EOS400D or the Nikon D60. If I go for the Canon I could afford another lens now but if I went for the Nikon then I will have to save for another lens. So at the moment Canon is winning until I get out to actually look at the cameras.
Kit 1
Canon EOS400D
Canon 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Canon EF-S 10-18mm
Kit 2
Canon EOS750D
My Compact/P&S: Panasonic TZ8
