Damselfly & Butterfly

Just a couple from College Lake Nature Reserve in Bulbourne, Herts today.

1 : Common Blue Damselfly

2 : Speckled Wood in Color. Another crack at this one, the reserve seemed to only have two different butterflies residing there, the Speckled Wood, and Meadow Brown, somewhat in abundance here.

Very disappointing when it came to bird life again, did not capture anything close up, think they seen me coming again .

Re: Damselfly & Butterfly

Thanks Daisy. The Sigma Lens i use is Macro but 200mm/300mm, not really ideal for super close up captures of insects, one day hopefully i will be able to afford maybe a 50mm/100mm macro lens

I cannot say i have Daisy, that thought did cross my mind a few days ago but i just dismissed doing it, as i didnt think it was something i could do that would work. Problem with me doing this also is my eyesight when it comes to manual focusing, its no where near perfect, and im all fingers and thumbs too. I still might give it a shot though
