Re: Having a wonderful Holiday

Good 'street' 'candid' image, and yes, you must be getting good at being invisible

Think it could do with a small clockwise rotation, and maybe play a little with a crop to the left... maybe a tweek with the contrast too.

My friend is a very large guy... sort of 6 foot plus, maybe 22-23 stone... does some fantastic candid street work and goes unnoticed.

mmmmmm by Daisy I think I remember.

I really hope it was me because they are very wise words.....(shame you couldn't quote.)

but,, you are so right, that guy deserves to besport his vivid knitwear unabashed.....without fear or favour of me 'lovin it'.

Don't think 'model' is the right word for this kinda street shot/ candid though , that suggests they were posed..'.subject' might be better .

That really did make me LOL......... Nice shot Dave.

Just out of interest why can't people say what they think about someone in a picture?
If someone looks like a prat they look like a prat, if someone looks beautiful they look beautiful.

For me it's a combination of bad manners and "Photography etiquette" for want of a better word, it's your right to take candids on the street, but if you publish them on a forum, you would hope nobody would make personal comments about the subjects, same applies to models too. I've seen someone pull a model apart, and say some rude things and derogatory things, without them realises it was the photographers girlfriend

Just always best not to make personal comments, besides if you came across a candid of a member of your family on a photography forum, you wouldn't be best pleased if someone had made an impolite personal remark, or said something hurtful, not that anybody really had in this case, anyway IMO.
