Vesper, Juno and Godiva

My desk is perfect for rat lovers. Little cubby hole perfect for rat snuggling, or as a base when they play games bombing around my desk running over my keyboard and confusing whoever i'm MSNing.
My camera is never far, so caught these shots last night, practicing recent advise. I know they're not super, but i'm having a go i guess!

Black [with brown imposter hairs!] rex is Vesper Lynd. Burmese is Juno. Fuffy red eyed dumbo himalayan rex is little Lady Godiva. Div for short.

Re: Vesper, Juno and Godiva

Hi,

They are seriously cute If you want advice on shooting rats asks Zoundz or Tassle. My only advice from shooting my hamster , is keep down to their level, try and keep them on a clutter free surface, like a sheet on a sofa or something, perhaps put a toy or a bit of food next to them , to try and keep them still for longer.

The rats are very cute, and will look great, but if they are on a plainer surface area, you will notice them even more, does that help?

Re: Vesper, Juno and Godiva

Thank you Moonshine! I've done many a 'photo shoot' with my rats, setting up backgrounds for christmas cards, and sheet backgrounds for profile shots, i may do some soon I think! These were simply 'as they are' as apposed to set up. More than anything i was trying to get nice close detail focused shots, i love photos of rats that are face of with a burst of whiskers!

I guess it would help if i knew what 'good close up detail' actually was! Must keep snooping around more photo threads!
