Canon 400d

Should I get it or shouldn't I?

Looking at upgrading after getting my 6 week late birthday present(money) off my gran, I have a 300d just now.

She gave me £1000, But don't want to spend it all on a camera, Want to get a couple/few lenses etc too

So should I get it just now or wait and get the 450d(or something else) in a few months?

(she has just sold her house and decided since it was my 18th and my bro's 21st (his is 2 days after mine) to give us more than usual.... I was to say the least)

Re: Canon 400d

There's about £100 difference between 400 and 450d, if it's worth and extra £100 to you then I'd say get the 450, otherwise the 400 is great as well

I'd recommend against getting the kit lens tho - I am not keen on the Canon kit lens.

Let us know how you get on!

Re: Canon 400d

Another option (if it's Canon you're after) would be the 40D.

It's a bigger, heavier camera which might not be what you want but with the cashback deal running to the end of the June it's a good deal.
