Got a new lens

I finally decided on a lens after weeks of thinking it over A Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens

I managed to borrow a 70 or 75 to 300mm lens (can't remember exactly what it was) for a few days last week but found for the things I take photos of it was not really needed at the moment. So I have gone a little over budget but as my OH says the money I was given to buy the camera and lenses was a gift so I should not feel guilty about spending it

I tried it out yesterday with Star I get the feeling this lens will stay on the camera most of the time. I only wish I got it sooner but as usual household problems got in the way.

Kit 1
Canon EOS400D
Canon 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Canon EF-S 10-18mm
Kit 2
Canon EOS750D
My Compact/P&S: Panasonic TZ8

Re: Got a new lens

From what I gather, the 60 is perfect for nice portrait shots, giving you some nice bokeh effects.

Nice shot of Star btw
