Re: Moments when you wish you had the camera.

The day I was sat in the garden on the decking , and our rabbit Basil was in his enclosed run, and a big bird of prey just bombed down onto the top of the run, flew off and swooped again and then left, poor Basil it's a miracle he didn't die of fright. I just sat there slack jawed
I have no idea what type it was except big

Re: Moments when you wish you had the camera.

I had another moment today, I left the camera in as the weather was changable, bright sun one minute, pouring down the next, so I thought I didnt want to be carrying it round If I didnt use it, the battery in my p&s is dead.

The thing I saw was an RAC van being hooked up to be towed away after breaking down, just something kind of ironic in it.

I broke down in Winchester a few years ago, and had to have the car put on a lorry to bring it home, the lorry broke down, the 'nice man' was just a bit embarressed

Re: Moments when you wish you had the camera.

I remember when working on tankers I was sitting in a layby having lunch when this deer jump over a fence from a wooded area and it stood there in a perfect pose 3/4 angle its head facing me with full spread of antlers and where was my camera and it stayed there for about 10 minutes I could have built a camera in that had I had the bits
