Even the old cars in the background make it good.

Re: The Old Doctor...

Fab as ever BC

One tiny thing - It's more the background than the figure but perhaps it could do with a slight clockwise turn.

Re: The Old Doctor...

I like this one BC, the only thing I would change is to straighten the horizon as this would look more authentic I think. Slanted shots seem to be a modern thing. It might look good with a little noise added too.

Just my thoughts but could be wrong (often am).

Re: The Old Doctor...

I agree that it may look a bit better straightened I think adding some noise could really make it pop too! Brilliant shot, I love it!

Re: The Old Doctor...

Wasn't too sure about the horizon hence you are all deciding for me... you could well be right, straightened is better... actually looks more noticeable on yop than it did opened bigger on my desktop. think I was too close to it. I wasn't quite trying to recreate the 1930's/40's look, but sometimes I guess modern lenses, in this case an ultra sharp Nikon 28-70 only at f4 or wider, and a noiseless d700 are too good!

Comments really appreciated..
