Young Music Artist Shoot.

I've recently been working with Jim Cregan, once part of many famous bands, Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel to name one.

He has recently returned to Bournemouth after spending many years In LA. Somehow he ended up looking for studio space at the my uni, but in the end he ended up sorting space in his home.

Any way long story short. He has retired from touring and using his musical talent how dabbles in music production. Using his vast array of contacts hes hoping to propel some young talent into the mainstream.

Due to him visiting my uni and speaking the right person me and two of my peers have been working along side Jim to help do some promotional work.

We agreed we needed some photography so we arranged a shoot etc. This was the first attempt and they've come out well in my opinion. Please dont be too harsh as I will end up hating the photos.

Naturally I have favourites with in the set, and some I'm not so fond of.

Re: Young Music Artist Shoot.

I don't know this musicians work but the set of shots give a melancholic feel, I like them, well most of them but hope you wanted them to convey a contemplative or sad impression.

I too like 1, 4 & 5. #6 has potential if you cropped the blank white skyline out of the photo. Nice work, nice lighting.

Re: Young Music Artist Shoot.

I like the second to last two shots the best, focus and exposure are nice and the composition on the beach shot is good, but I might have brought him in to the frame a little more (rule of thirds thing).

Don't know why but the shots do seem to be 'red' heavy, did you use a filter or push the colours?

Nice set of images, good job.
