Re: Some shots of the kids

I think these are lovely, and some good advice given. I love the last shot, but for me the expression in number 2 is priceless!

Re: Some shots of the kids

I like most of this set but really like the last photo. The composition is charming, especially the little guy's face cut in half but with enough showing to give the viewer a sneak peek into his personality. Well done!

May I suggest that you number multiple photo posts so that we, the viewers, can more easily refer to specific photos. Thanks.

Re: Some shots of the kids

I think you must be a good mummy LM! They seem like a happy lot - reminds me of me when I was a kid with my brother and sisters

Do you have any background in art? You really do have an eye for a good photo - I hope you never give up photography, think it's definitely your thing!

Re: Some shots of the kids

I am loving the forth pic and I looked on e bay for reflectors and this is similar to what I have.

So you can have more control of the light.

Re: Some shots of the kids

I spotted these on Fickr and thought they were great.

You've certainly got a 'style' going on and as others have said your eye for composition and willingness to experiment is very refreshing.

Not really. I did A level art, but nothing beyond that.
I'm a music teacher and an infant school teacher.
Since having kids I have taken loads and loads and loads of photos of them, some are reasonable, loads are rubbish!
Now I have taken over hubby's camera, I'm hoping to learn enough to take some decent pictures of the kids to treasure when I'm old and they have flown the nest!
