Green Anole, showing off

This was a real quick grab shot an hour ago, it was on the window ledge by my computer, so shot through glass,so part of it's blurry.

Male Green Anole's puff out their throat fans, when another male comes into their territory, couldn't get them both in, as it was all over too quick.

Re: Green Anole, showing off

He's a handsome chap - well spotted.

Having moved - Is it not a bit strange having all these new animals to get familiar with ?

I'm nearly 40 and I'm only just getting the hang of knowing the difference between my tits and my chiffchaffs.

Re: Green Anole, showing off

Yep, got used to all the wildlife in NC, and now here, lots of different animals, and reptiles to learn again. A Fox Squirrel and a big Blue Jay are my fave visitors, least fave are the snakeshaving to learn which ones are which, etc. same goes for spiders too. The Lizards and Geckos are cool, get them in the house quite a bit, and touch wood, have only had one snake indoors so far.

Still haven't seen an Armadillo(alive), though I recently saw my first Coyote, and I walk the dogs sometimes in a place with Alligators, it's all a bit mad when you think about it. Though, I do miss places like Delamere, where I didn't have to worry about the dogs.
